charcoal pencils

In a few of my graphic design lesson i have been using charcoal pencils for my idea. While using charcoal pencils i have been trying to show my techniques but it is hard to draw because the charcoal is is hard to shade with. I have made some adjustments to my idea (animals contrasting with urban) by making the buildings on top of the turtle tilted and wider to make it look cartoony.
